Job Title: Cover Teacher Croydon

Job Type: Temporary, expected to work Full-Time hours

Salary: £148 - £174 Per day

Qualifications: Enhanced DBS on Update Service

Job Duties:

  • Deliver pre-prepared lessons to classes in the absence of the regular teacher
  • Ensure classroom management and discipline are maintained
  • Follow the school's policies and procedures
  • Provide feedback to regular teachers on student progress
  • Engage students in learning activities

Required Qualifications:

  • Enhanced DBS on Update Service
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Experience:

  • Prior experience in teaching or working with children
  • Experience covering lessons or working as a substitute teacher

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of the UK national curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt to different teaching environments
  • Effective classroom management techniques

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Additional training in special educational needs (SEN) is desirable
  • Experience using educational technology in the classroom
