Salary: £21,866 to £23,360 actual salary (Point 13 to 17 Essex Scale 6)
Hours: 32.5 hours per week (8:00 am to 3:30 pm daily)
Term time only

The successful candidate will provide cover for absent teaching staff across a broad curriculum. You will supervise pre-set work to ensure continuity of learning and manage student behaviour to maintain a positive and productive classroom environment. No prior teaching experience is necessary, making this an ideal role for those considering teaching as a career or those looking to return to the profession.

Key Requirements:

  • Strong literacy, numeracy, and communication skills
