We’re working with a range of secondary schools across Whitechapel who are looking for confident, reliable, and engaging Cover Supervisors to support their pupils when teachers are away.

What you’ll be doing:

• Stepping into the classroom and keeping lessons on track using pre-set work

• Managing behaviour and encouraging positive learning

• Supporting students to stay focused and engaged in their learning

• Being a dependable part of the school day, helping staff and pupils alike

What we’re looking for:

• Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport quickly

• Classroom or youth work experience (formal teaching qualification not required)

• Confidence to manage groups of secondary students

• A flexible, proactive approach and a genuine interest in education

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
