The Role:
- Supervising classes during teacher absence and ensuring pupils remain on task
- Creating a calm, constructive and positive classroom environment
- Managing behaviour confidently and fairly in line with school policies
- De-escalating situations appropriately and always following safeguarding procedures
- Collecting completed work at the end of lessons and passing it on to the relevant staff
- Reporting any safeguarding concerns in line with school procedures
A Little Bit About You:
- Experience working with children or young people in any setting
- Calm, patient and confident when leading a classroom
- Comfortable managing behaviour and engaging pupils in their learning
- Clear communicator who can follow lesson plans and school expectations
- Adaptable, reliable and keen to build classroom experience

A CV covering the last 10 years of work or education, with any gaps explained
Two years of references, including childcare or education where applicable
An OSPC if you have lived overseas for three months or more in the last five years
