The Role
As a Cover Supervisor, you’ll step into the classroom when teachers are absent, ensuring that lessons run smoothly and learning continues. You’ll manage behaviour, deliver pre-set work, and help students stay focused and on track. It’s a fantastic opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, or anyone who enjoys working with young people and wants hands-on classroom experience.
Your Day-to-Day

Supervising classes during teacher absence and ensuring lessons stay on task

Managing classroom behaviour in line with school expectations

Supporting pupils to engage positively with their learning

Building strong relationships across the school community

Gaining valuable insight into school life and teaching practice
