We are looking for resilient, charismatic, and adaptable Cover Supervisors to join their support team. This is the perfect opportunity for aspiring teachers to build a portfolio of experience before commencing PGCE or Initial Teacher Training.

The Role
As a Cover Supervisor, you will be the lead adult in the classroom in the absence of the class teacher. You do not need to plan lessons or mark work. Your focus is on:

Classroom Management: delivering pre-planned lessons and ensuring students remain on task.

Behaviour Support: Managing behavior in line with the school’s positive behavior policy.

Engagement: Answering student questions and fostering a positive learning environment.

Flexibility: Covering a variety of subjects, from English and Maths to PE and Drama.
What We Are Looking For
We are looking for individuals with a strong presence and a genuine passion for working with young people.

Education: A University Degree (any subject) is highly desirable.

Experience: Previous experience working with children (tutoring, coaching, youth work) is advantageous but not essential—attitude is key!

Traits: Confidence, resilience, a good sense of humor, and the ability to think on your feet.

Requirements: You must hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one through Protocol).
