Cover Supervisor – Telford

Looking to step into the classroom without the planning load? This Cover Supervisor role could be your perfect fit.

We’re working with a welcoming secondary school in Telford that needs a calm, confident presence to help keep lessons running smoothly. You’ll support students across different subjects, keeping things on track and stepping in where needed—all while soaking up the buzz of school life.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Leading pre-set lessons across various subjects (no planning required!)

  • Keeping students focused, engaged, and learning

  • Managing classroom behaviour with confidence and care

  • Stepping up to support staff and pupils where needed across the day

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience working with young people in or outside the classroom

  • Someone who can build strong relationships with students and staff alike

  • Great communication skills (written and spoken)

  • Someone organised, proactive, and unflappable in a busy school day

  • A real desire to make a difference to young people’s school experience

This role is ideal for anyone who’s worked as a youth worker, sports coach, teaching assistant—or even someone thinking about a future in teaching and wanting to get classroom experience.

The school itself has a strong sense of community, with staff who genuinely care about student wellbeing and a curriculum that’s both rich and ambitious. You’ll be joining a team that supports one another and believes every child should feel seen, safe, and successful.
