Cover Supervisor – Newcastle (Secondary Schools)

Pay: £90–£115 per day (PAYE, no umbrella companies)
Location: Newcastle and surrounding areas
Contract: Full-time / Part-time / Immediate start

We’re looking for adaptable, engaging Cover Supervisors to work across our partner secondary schools in Newcastle. You’ll step into the classroom when teachers are absent, keeping lessons on track and students focused, with plenty of support from the school team.

It’s a great opportunity for anyone who enjoys variety, responsibility, and making a difference – whether you’re a graduate exploring teaching or someone with school experience ready for your next challenge.

What you’ll be doing

  • Delivering pre-prepared lessons and managing the classroom

  • Supporting students to stay engaged and on task

  • Building positive relationships with staff and pupils

  • Creating a calm, productive learning environment

What you’ll need

  • Experience working with young people, ideally in an educational setting

  • Strong communication and behaviour management skills

  • A flexible, confident approach and a good sense of initiative

  • A genuine interest in education and student success
