Cover Supervisor

Location: Secondary school in the Newcastle area
Start date: ASAP
Pay: £110 to £130 per day (PAYE)
Contract: Flexible supply, part-time or full-time cover

This is an excellent opportunity for someone confident, organised and keen to support learning. You’ll step into lessons during teacher absence and help ensure continuity and structure for students.

What you’ll be doing

  • Supervising classes using pre-prepared lesson materials.

  • Keeping students on task and maintaining a safe and respectful classroom environment.

  • Following school routines and behaviour expectations.

  • Reporting back to teaching staff about how lessons went.

  • Supporting pupils with their understanding when appropriate.
