The Role
As a Cover Supervisor, you are the "teacher in charge" when the regular class teacher is absent. You won't need to plan lessons or mark homework—your focus is on delivery and management.

Supervise: deliver pre-planned lessons across a variety of subjects (from Maths to PE to History).

Manage: Use the school’s behaviour policy to ensure a calm and focused learning environment.

Engage: Answer student questions and keep them on task.

Report: Provide feedback to the regular teacher on how the lesson went.
The Ideal Profile
We are looking for confidence, resilience, and charisma.

Education: A University Degree (any subject) is highly desirable.

Experience: Previous experience working with young people (e.g., as a tutor, sports coach, youth worker, or drama workshop leader).

Personality: You must have a strong presence and the ability to command a room of 30 students.
