TEMP TO PERM

Protocol Education are working in partnership with this "GOOD" Ofsted rated school in Wandsworth who are seeking to appoint a Cover Supervisor to join them full time ASAP.

We are seeking a confident and motivated individual.

The main purpose of this role is to support teachers and provide cover for absent staff. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a supportive, friendly and professional environment.

We are seeking to appoint well-qualified and friendly individual who is enthusiastic about supporting young people. Cover Supervisors support the work of curriculum areas whilst a teacher is absent in order to ensure that learning is taking place and students are making progress.

You will be expected to supervise classes across a range of subjects. To be successful, you will have a firm but friendly approach and be self-confident in dealing with young people.

The successful candidate will be joining the school at an exciting time. The school is a mixed comprehensive school, which was judged “good” by Ofsted in 2019. The school is now full throughout KS3 with a waiting list of families. We are committed to real inclusion and are proud of our newly opened Specialist Resource Provision for ASD students. We have recently joined Bourne Education Trust, which has a commitment to nurturing talented colleagues, and we offer a comprehensive programme of professional development for all staff. All visitors to our school comment on the high standards of behaviour, high levels of student engagement in lessons and the warmth and pride with which students talk about their school. We would encourage you to read our Ofsted report prior to making an application.

The Candidate:
• Degree educated OR experience working with children
• A character who truly makes a difference in the classroom and enjoys working with young people.
• Excellent communication skills; verbal/written and reading comprehension
• Proven track record of positively impacting the lives of children, please note - this can be in any field

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are looking for flexible work. The school is able to work with cover supervisors to find work around their availability.

If you are enthusiastic about working with children and young people, we want to hear from you. Get in touch today to find out more.
