Protocol Education are working with schools throughout the Wiltshire area and we’re searching for positive, proactive Cover Supervisors who can keep lessons running smoothly and pupils engaged when teachers are away.

Best thing about this role, you dont need to have formal teaching qualifcations to do it. The role of a Cover Supervisor is Unqualified. Its all about you, the energy you can bring to the classroom. Previous experience is helpful, but not essential, full training will be given to the successful candidate.

There are both full and part time options available, so the role and work can fit around your current availabilty, ensuring you have a great work/life balance. 

You Will:

• Work under the guidance of senior staff and follow set lesson plans

• Supervise whole classes and keep pupils focused on learning

• Maintain a calm, positive environment and good order in the classroom

• Support the wider team in delivering a great school day, every day

About You

You’ll be someone who enjoys working with young people and can bring energy, patience, and structure to the classroom.

We’d love to hear from you if you:

• Are confident, adaptable, and organised

• Communicate clearly and listen well

• Stay calm under pressure and have a positive attitude

• Want to play an active part in helping pupils succeed

• Previous experience working within education or a similar field with young people is preferred

We work with all schools throughout Swindon, Wiltshire, Bristol, Bath, NE Somerset, Somerset, South Glos and surrounding areas. If this role is not in your area, please do still apply. There will be a school and role nearby!

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
