At Protocol Education, we partner with secondary schools across Leeds and Wakefield to help graduates and subject specialists gain paid, hands-on experience in schools. It’s a brilliant stepping stone if you’re considering teacher training or a long-term career in education.
What you’ll be doing

Supporting Maths, English or Science lessons across KS3 and KS4

Working alongside experienced teachers in the classroom

Providing 1:1 or small group academic support

Helping pupils stay focused, confident and engaged with learning
You’ll build classroom confidence, sharpen your subject delivery and see what teaching is really like day to day.
Who we’re looking for

Graduates in Maths, English, Science or related subjects

Clear communicators who enjoy working with young people

Patient, proactive and keen to learn

Anyone considering teacher training or school-based roles
No formal teaching experience needed, just strong subject knowledge and the right attitude.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
