Our vibrant and highly successful college based in East London is currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated Construction Teacher to join our team on a full-time basis.

Our college is a dynamic and highly successful institution situated in East London, with approximately 12,500 students, a dedicated team of circa 500 established staff, and an impressive annual turnover of £35 million. We offer a wide range of learning pathways, from entry level through to MBA level, which includes apprenticeships, higher level apprentices, higher education programs, and services for Job Centre Plus clients.
Programs and Specializations:
We have technical specialist areas from level 3 and above, providing a broad-based curriculum up to level 2. Our college takes immense pride in the achievements of our students, the dedication of our entrepreneurial and motivated staff team, and our extensive partnership network.

- The College trains approximately 850 apprentices, including about 110 higher-level apprenticeships.
- We are known for delivering workplace training, traineeships, and higher-level technical and professional specialisms, including programs up to MBA level.
- Our strategic vocational areas include Construction, Design & Management; Engineering, including mechatronics & robotics; Digital Creative; Health & Social Care; and Leadership and Management across various occupational sectors in London.
Qualifications and Requirements:

QTS or PGCE: Successful candidates must possess either QTS or a PGCE, showcasing their commitment to high-quality teaching and learning.

Foreign Teaching Degrees: We are open to considering candidates with foreign teaching degrees, such as baccalaureate Teaching degrees, as long as they meet the necessary criteria and demonstrate their ability to teach construction effectively.

Construction Experience: Candidates must have a strong background in the field of construction, with practical knowledge and experience in the industry.

Teaching Experience: Experience in teaching, especially in the context of construction education, is highly desirable. Candidates should have the ability to convey their expertise to students effectively.

Competitive Salary: We offer a competitive salary package starting at £160 per day, with the potential to increase up to £235, based on experience and qualifications. This rate may be further enhanced for candidates with 10+ years of construction and teaching experience or due to the location being in London.
