Computer Science Teacher
Secondary School based in Enfield
Permanent position
An 11-18 secondary school based in Enfield is currently looking for a full-time permanent teacher of computer science from September 2024 onwards. The school is very supportive of it’s staff and prides itself on it’s high standards which has led to a track record of excellent exam results and a cohort of staff who are happy within their workplace.
The role will involve planning and delivering high quality schemes of work to both KS3 and KS4 (some KS5 as well) in Computer Science. You will be responsible for performing assessments, inputting/tracking student data and helping to raise attainment levels. You will also need to attend parents’ evenings and department meetings along with any department school trips that you might be required for. Calling parents and liaising with the head of department when necessary and supporting with extra-curricular clubs (throwing yourself into the whole school life) would also be expected.
Some of the key requirements for the role are listed below;
- Must have experience of delivering Computer Science to KS3 and KS4 as minimum (KS5 ideal but not essential).
- Must live in (or within close commuting distance to) Enfield.
- Strong literacy/numeracy skills and confidence within the classroom.
The school are looking to appoint for this full-time permanent position as soon as possible with an ideal start date being the beginning of the new school year in September.
- Pay: MPS1 – UPS3 per annum.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
