Computer Science Teacher – Newcastle upon Tyne
If you enjoy helping students understand how technology works, this Computer Science role offers the chance to teach coding, problem solving and digital literacy.
Your role
You’ll deliver Computer Science to KS3 and KS4 pupils, supporting them with programming, algorithms, cybersecurity and practical applications of digital systems.
What you’ll do
- Teaching coding and computational thinking
- Supporting pupils with GCSE Computer Science content
- Preparing engaging, practical lessons
- Encouraging safe and responsible technology use
- Working closely with ICT/Computing departments
You’ll need
- QTS with Computer Science or ICT experience
- A clear, supportive teaching approach
- Confidence teaching coding concepts

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
