We are working with a leading further education provider to recruit a passionate Communication Support Worker (CSW) to support Deaf and hard-of-hearing students. You will work closely with teaching staff to promote independence, inclusion, and confidence across a range of vocational subjects. This is a full-time, term-time role (37 hours/week) with opportunities to make a real difference in a dynamic, inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Support Deaf and hard-of-hearing learners in the classroom and across the curriculum

Help students access lessons and achieve their full potential

Promote inclusion, confidence, and independence

Work flexibly and empathetically to meet individual learner needs

Collaborate with teaching staff and other support services
Person Specification:
-
Level 3 BSL qualification (Signature, CACDP, SEG, or Scottish equivalent)

Ideally holds a formal CSW qualification
-
GCSE Grade C or equivalent in English and Maths
-
Experience supporting Deaf learners or those with SEND
-
