Supply Primary Teacher – Colchester
We are currently seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Supply Primary Teacher to work across primary schools in Colchester and surrounding areas.
This role is ideal for teachers looking for flexible work, including day-to-day supply and short-term cover, across EYFS, KS1, and KS2.
The Role:

Deliver pre-planned lessons and ensure continuity of learning

Create a safe, positive, and engaging classroom environment

Follow school policies, including behaviour management and safeguarding

Adapt quickly to different school settings and routines
-
Support pupils of varying abilities and needs
Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
-
Experience teaching in UK primary schools (EYFS–KS2)
-
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
-
Flexible, professional, and confident in new environments
-
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
