Teaching Assistant – West Newcastle

Pay: £90–£115 per day | Start: ASAP | Contract: Full-time, Long-term

You’ll work closely with teachers to support pupils who need that extra nudge — whether that’s helping them stay on task, understand tricky topics, or build confidence in class. It’s a brilliant role for someone who wants to see real progress and be part of a supportive, down-to-earth team.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Supporting pupils 1:1 and in small groups to boost confidence and understanding

  • Helping create a positive, inclusive classroom environment

  • Encouraging independence and celebrating the small wins every day

  • Working alongside staff to make lessons engaging and accessible

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience working with children or young people (in or outside school)

  • Patience, positivity, and great communication skills

  • A proactive attitude and genuine care for pupil wellbeing

  • TA qualifications or relevant experience (SEN experience a plus!)
