Classroom Support Assistant

What you’ll be doing

You’ll work in classrooms across different subjects, helping pupils understand tasks, stay focused and build good learning habits. It’s a rewarding role with lots of variety.

Your responsibilities

  • Supporting individuals and small groups during class
  • Encouraging positive behaviour
  • Helping teachers prepare resources
  • Providing simple explanations and guidance
  • Supporting pupils who need reassurance or structure

You’ll be a good fit if you have

  • Experience with young people
  • A warm, patient approach
  • Strong communication skills
  • An enhanced DBS or willingness to complete one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
