We are excited to be working with a lively and vibrant school in Woodingdean who are looking for two inspiring class teachers to join their friendly, dedicated and caring staff team.

Position: Class teacher

Location: Woodingdean  

Hours: Full time

Salary: £110 - £140 a day

We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic class teachers to join the team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment, where every child feels valued and supported. You will be responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing high-quality lessons that meet the needs of all learners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in accordance with the National Curriculum.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes a love of learning.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and setting appropriate targets.
  • Foster strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to support student well-being and academic achievement.
  • Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities.
  • Contribute to the wider school community and ethos.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in Education or a related field.
  • Experience teaching in a primary school setting.
  • Strong understanding of the National Curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
