Chemistry Teacher

What you’ll be teaching as a Chemistry Teacher
You’ll deliver Chemistry across KS3 and KS4, helping students understand reactions, patterns, structures and the role chemistry plays in everyday life. The department is collaborative, well-resourced and committed to high-quality science education.
Your main duties as a Chemistry Teacher
- Planning and teaching effective Chemistry lessons
- Leading practical investigations safely and confidently
- Preparing pupils for assessments and exam requirements
- Providing constructive feedback to support progress
- Working closely with colleagues across the science team
You’ll be a strong match as a Chemistry Teacher if you
- Hold QTS with a Chemistry specialism
- Are passionate about practical science
- Communicate clearly and confidently
- Use positive behaviour management strategies

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
