Caretaker/Grounds Keeper - Hampstead, London.

 

We are seeking to appoint a full-time Caretaker to join a highly effective site team at a School based in Hampstead.

Previous experience as a caretaker is desirable but not essential, however general maintenance or odd jobs skills are essential.

 

The role will include physical tasks such as lifting and transporting furniture, consumables and equipment around the site, general maintenance and repairs and a variety of other tasks.

Willingness to be a first aider is desirable but not essential and training will be provided if required. Our site team is made up of 5 full-time, all-year-round staff, one of whom is based at the Junior School site.

In addition, we have a Security Guard who covers the evening shift and locking up.

 

It is expected that the working hours for this role will be 10am to 6pm during term-time with flexibility for overtime and weekend hours. Working hours during school holidays may vary.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
