Care Support Worker – Alnwick

Love helping others and ready to make a real difference? We’re looking for a kind, reliable Care Support Worker to join a specialist school in Alnwick, supporting young people with additional learning needs.

You’ll be part of a warm, welcoming team who help pupils build confidence and independence in every lesson. Whether it’s supporting communication, encouraging engagement, or offering reassurance during tricky moments, your calm presence will make all the difference.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Supporting learners with autism, ADHD, and sensory needs

  • Helping with personal care and daily routines

  • Creating a calm, positive learning environment

  • Working closely with teachers and therapists

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience supporting young people with SEND (in work, volunteering, or personal life)

  • A patient, empathetic approach

  • Willingness to learn and grow in a specialist setting
