A special needs school in the coalville area are looking for a strong and condifent House Manager who will be supporting a team and group of pupils on the residential side of the school, aged 10-16 years. The role requires you to be organised and proactive in checking all medication, 1:1 support and the running of the residential home is done appropriatly and to Ofsted regulations. 

The school are happy to meet candidates and explain the role fully so they get a goos idea of what is expected in the role. The successful candidate needs to be able to talk to the pupils and build positive relationships, as well as encourgaing independence and ensuring the staff follow the same standards.

Hours - Flexiable (can be shift work or day time only, possibly nights, but school will discuss this and future plans as it is based on needs of service users)

Experience in medical handling, care work, supporting people with SEND, personal care, 1:1 support

Ambitious - wanting to learn and get involved

Caring and compassionate - believes every service user can succeed and wants to build thier independence

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
