The Role

As the Lead Teacher, you will be the driving force behind the Business Studies curriculum. You will be responsible for maintaining the high standards of the department while bringing fresh, innovative ideas to the table.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading the planning and delivery of Business Studies at Key Stages 4 and 5 (including BTEC and A-Level).

  • Mentoring and supporting departmental staff to ensure excellence in teaching and learning.

  • Analyzing data to track student progress and implementing interventions where necessary.

  • Forging links with local businesses to provide students with real-world insights and work experience opportunities.

Requirement Essential Criteria
Qualifications QTS / QTLS and a relevant degree in Business, Economics, or a related field.
Experience Substantial experience teaching Business at KS4 & KS5 with demonstrable results.
Leadership Previous experience as a Head of Department or Second-in-Charge is preferred, but experienced teachers ready for their first leadership step are encouraged to apply.
