Biology Teacher — Full Time, January Start

Location: Horfield, Bristol
Contract: Full-time, ongoing

A secondary school in Horfield is looking for a full-time Biology specialist to join their Science department from January. This is a straightforward teaching role covering KS3 general Science and KS4 Biology, including planning, delivery, and marking.

About the role

You’ll be teaching mixed-ability groups across Years 7 to 11, with a particular focus on GCSE Biology. The department has established schemes of work, shared resources, and strong technician support, making practical lessons manageable and well-organised.

You’ll contribute to assessments, planning and departmental meetings as needed, and work alongside a team that values consistency and clear communication.
