A welcoming primary school in Bradford is looking for a full-time Behavioural SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils who need consistency, understanding, and the right adult by their side.
This role is all about relationships. You’ll be helping children who find school tricky at times, supporting emotional regulation, positive behaviour, and access to learning in a way that works for them.
Your day-to-day will include

Supporting pupils with behavioural and emotional needs, often linked to SEN

Providing 1:1 or small group support within the classroom

Helping pupils manage emotions, routines, and transitions

Using positive behaviour strategies and de-escalation techniques

Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral staff

Have experience supporting children with behavioural needs or SEMH

Are calm, resilient, and consistent, even on challenging days

Can build trust and set clear boundaries with warmth

Are available full-time and looking for a long-term role

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
