Job Duties:

  • Provide behavioural support to students in educational settings
  • Implement and monitor behaviour support plans
  • Assist in developing and delivering tailored interventions
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student needs
  • Maintain accurate records of interventions and progress

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience working with children or young adults with behavioural challenges
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and de-escalate challenging situations

Education:

A relevant qualification in education, psychology, or a related field ideally.

Experience:

Prior experience in a similar role is desirable

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of behavioural management techniques
  • Ability to create and implement behaviour support plans
  • Knowledge of safeguarding procedures

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Additional training in behaviour management or special education
  • Certification in counselling or related field

Working Conditions:

This role involves working in educational settings with students who require behaviour support. The work may be emotionally demanding at times.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
