Behaviour Support Assistant – Team Teach (Durham)
Pay: £89–£120 per day

We’re working with a specialist provision in Durham looking for a Team Teach trained Behaviour Support Assistant. This is a hands-on role supporting pupils with additional emotional and behavioural needs—no two days the same, but always rewarding.
In this role, you’ll:

Support pupils on a 1:1 or small-group basis

Apply Team Teach strategies to manage challenging behaviour positively

Build trust and structure into each pupil’s school day
You’ll need:

Team Teach training (or willingness to complete it)
-
Experience in a SEND, SEMH, or PRU setting

Resilience, warmth, and a sense of humour—essential!

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
