Behaviour Support Assistant – SEND (Newcastle)
Location: Newcastle upon Tyne
Contract: Full-time
Start: Immediate
Pay: £95–£110 per day (PAYE)
A specialist SEND setting is looking for a Behaviour Support Assistant to help pupils regulate emotions and engage positively with learning.
What you’ll be doing:

Supporting pupils with SEMH and behavioural needs

Implementing positive behaviour strategies

Creating calm, structured environments
-
Working closely with SEND and pastoral teams
What we’re looking for:

Experience in SEND, SEMH or care settings
-
Calm, resilient and consistent approach
-
Confidence managing challenging behaviour
-
Strong relationship-building skills
