You’ll play a key role in helping students manage emotions, rebuild confidence and feel safe enough to learn at their own pace.

Supporting pupils with social, emotional and behavioural needs across the school day

Offering calm, structured guidance when emotions run high or routines feel overwhelming

Helping pupils re-engage with learning after difficult moments

Building trusting relationships through consistency, empathy and clear communication

Working closely with teachers, pastoral teams and behaviour leads to deliver joined-up support

Encouraging resilience, small wins and positive behaviour choices

Someone who responds calmly under pressure and enjoys problem-solving

Experience in SEMH, youth work, mentoring, coaching or care is helpful but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
