We are looking for a dedicated Behaviour Buddy to join a nurturing primary school in LS6, Leeds. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a difference and helping children develop both socially and emotionally, as well as academically.
The Role:

Support pupils across EYFS, KS1, and KS2 with social, emotional, and behavioural needs

Work one-to-one or in small groups to help students manage their emotions and behaviour

Implement behaviour support strategies and help maintain a positive learning environment

Build trusting, supportive relationships with pupils and act as a positive role model

Collaborate closely with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral teams to ensure every child feels supported and included
The Ideal Candidate:

Confident, calm, and compassionate when working with children

Strong communication and behaviour management skills

A background in youth work, sports coaching, care, or education is desirable but not essential

Able to build positive relationships and encourage good behaviour through empathy and consistency

Resilient and proactive, with a genuine desire to make a difference in children’s lives
