Behaviour Support Assistant – Trauma-Informed Setting
Location: Durham
Pay: £90–£110 per day
Contract: Full-Time
This role is based in a trauma-informed specialist school where understanding behaviour as communication is central.
You’ll support pupils who may have experienced disruption or difficulty in education, helping them feel safe, respected and ready to learn.
Your day-to-day:
• Supporting emotional and behavioural needs
• Helping pupils manage challenging moments
• Encouraging positive routines and structure
• Supporting classroom learning
• Working closely with experienced staff
This role suits someone emotionally aware and resilient.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
