Behaviour Support Assistant – Primary Schools (Bradford)

Contract: Flexible / Ad hoc
Pay: £90–£115 per day (PAYE)

We’re looking for experienced and compassionate Behaviour Support Assistants to work flexibly across a range of primary schools in Bradford. This is an ad hoc role, perfect if you’re looking for variety, balance, and the chance to make a real impact where it’s needed most.
You’ll be working 1:1 or in small groups, supporting pupils who need a bit of extra encouragement to manage emotions and stay on track. Every day’s different, but your goal stays the same: to help pupils feel safe, understood, and ready to learn.
What you’ll be doing:

Supporting pupils with behaviour and emotional needs in KS1–KS2

Building positive, trusting relationships to help pupils thrive

Working closely with teachers and SEND teams to create supportive strategies

Bringing patience, empathy, and a sense of humour to every day
What we’re looking for:

Experience in behaviour support, mentoring, youth work, or SEND

A calm, positive attitude and great communication skills
-
Flexibility to work across different schools in the Bradford area

A genuine passion for helping young people succeed

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
