Behaviour Support Assistant – SEMH Focus

Pay: £90–£110 per day
Contract: Full-Time, Ongoing

We are recruiting a Behaviour Support Assistant to support pupils with social, emotional and behavioural needs.
This role supports pupils who may display challenging behaviour and require calm, consistent and understanding adult support to engage with education.
You will work closely with teaching and pastoral teams to promote positive behaviour and emotional regulation.
Key responsibilities:
• Supporting pupils with SEMH needs
• Helping manage behaviour calmly and positively
• Supporting pupils during challenging moments
• Encouraging emotional regulation and reflection
• Supporting learning engagement and routines
This role is ideal for someone who:
• Has experience in behaviour support, care or youth work
• Is resilient, patient and emotionally aware
• Understands behaviour as communication
• Enjoys relationship-led support work

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
