We are working with a well-organised secondary school in Sunderland to recruit a Behaviour Support Assistant for supply and long-term opportunities. About the role

  • Provide targeted behaviour support across the school day

  • Work 1:1 and in small groups with pupils who need extra guidance

  • Support de-escalation and emotional regulation

  • Reinforce behaviour expectations and routines

  • Work closely with pastoral, SEN and teaching staff

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
