Behaviour Support Assistant – Wiltshire (Full-Time, Part Time)

Are you passionate about helping children thrive, building strong relationships and supporting positive behaviour? We are looking for a dedicated Behaviour Support Specialist to join vibrant SEMH/SEN and Mainstream settings in Wiltsihre.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with young people, has a calm and patient approach, and is committed to creating a nurturing, inclusive environment where every pupil can succeed.

What the role involves:

  • Providing direct behaviour support to pupils and helping them engage successfully with their learning.

  • Supporting staff to maintain consistent behaviour expectations and approaches across the school.

  • Building positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues to remove barriers to learning.

  • Taking a proactive approach to de-escalation and restorative practice.

  • Helping to implement behaviour systems and strategies that promote respect, resilience and safety.

What we’re looking for:

  • A confident communicator with a warm, supportive manner.

  • Experience (or strong interest) in working with children and young people.

  • The ability to remain calm under pressure and apply behaviour management strategies consistently.

  • A positive, team-orientated mindset and a commitment to pupil wellbeing and progress.
