Behaviour Support Assistant – Wiltshire (Full-Time, Part Time)
Are you passionate about helping children thrive, building strong relationships and supporting positive behaviour? We are looking for a dedicated Behaviour Support Specialist to join vibrant SEMH/SEN and Mainstream settings in Wiltsihre.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with young people, has a calm and patient approach, and is committed to creating a nurturing, inclusive environment where every pupil can succeed.
What the role involves:

Providing direct behaviour support to pupils and helping them engage successfully with their learning.

Supporting staff to maintain consistent behaviour expectations and approaches across the school.

Building positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues to remove barriers to learning.

Taking a proactive approach to de-escalation and restorative practice.

Helping to implement behaviour systems and strategies that promote respect, resilience and safety.

Experience (or strong interest) in working with children and young people.

The ability to remain calm under pressure and apply behaviour management strategies consistently.
