Are you passionate about supporting children and helping them thrive in an educational environment? We are seeking a dedicated Supply Behaviour Support Assistant to work in primary schools in the LS25 area.

Role Overview:
As a Behaviour Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with behavioral needs, helping them engage positively with their education. Working closely with teaching staff, you'll provide one-to-one and group support, ensuring all children have the opportunity to succeed in a nurturing environment.

What You'll Do:

  • Assist with managing and supporting challenging behavior in the classroom.
  • Build strong relationships with students, fostering a safe and inclusive learning environment.
  • Provide one-to-one or small group interventions for students who need additional support.
  • Work collaboratively with school staff to implement individual behavior plans.
  • Promote positive behavior strategies and support emotional well-being.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience working with children, particularly those with behavioral needs (preferred but not essential).
  • A calm, empathetic, and patient approach.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A proactive and adaptable attitude to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • A valid DBS check on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
