Job Title: 1:1 Behaviour Support Assistant – Year 5
Location: BD7, Bradford
Hours: 8:30am – 1:30pm, Monday to Friday
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Ongoing – full academic year
Do you have a calm, confident approach and a knack for turning tricky mornings into positive learning days?
We’re looking for a caring and resilient Behaviour Support Assistant to work 1:1 with a Year 5 pupil in a welcoming primary school in the BD7 area.
The Role:

Supporting one pupil with challenging behaviour, helping them regulate emotions and stay engaged in learning.

Building trust and consistency through patience, empathy, and structure.

Working closely with the class teacher and SENCo to implement tailored strategies.

Helping the child access learning and develop social and emotional skills.
About You:

Experience working with children who display challenging behaviour or additional needs.

A calm, positive personality and strong communication skills.

Thrive training or similar behaviour support experience is a huge plus (and if you’re not Thrive trained yet, we’ll support you to complete it for free!).
