Behaviour Specialist

A secondary school based in Bristol are looking to appoint a full-time Behavioural Specialist to work 1:1 and in small groups, to support pupils that have additional learning or behaviour needs. 

Whilst you may have experience of working in an education setting already, we also encourage applicants with the following backgrounds to apply:

  • The care industry
  • Youth, sport, or extra-curricular clubs
  • Caring for a family member or friend with a disability or illness
  • Volunteering with children or vulnerable adults
  • Graduates with degrees such as Psychology or Sociology
  • Support or social work

Start: 17th April (can be flexible with this)

The successful applicant will:

  • Be able to use their initiative in meeting the needs of the student, depending on their individual communication, and learning skills
  • Be resilient in challenging situations
  • Be able to provide examples of interventions they have used
