Behaviour Mentor – Secondary Schools | London

Some students just need the right adult in their corner. That could be you.

We’re working with a number of supportive secondary schools across London who are looking for calm, confident Behaviour Mentors to help students stay engaged, regulated, and ready to learn.

This is a hands-on role where relationships matter. You’ll be supporting pupils who need a bit of extra guidance, structure, and encouragement to thrive in school.

The role

You’ll work closely with students on a one-to-one or small group basis, helping them manage behaviour, build confidence, and develop positive routines. You’ll also collaborate with teachers, pastoral teams, and SEN staff to keep things consistent and supportive.

No two days are the same, but you’ll always know you’re making a real difference.

What schools are looking for

  • Experience working with young people, especially in behaviour, pastoral, youth work, or SEND settings

  • A calm, resilient approach and the ability to build trust quickly

  • Strong communication and clear boundaries

  • A genuine desire to support students who find school challenging

What you’ll get

  • Opportunities across secondary schools in London

  • Weekly pay through PAYE, no umbrella companies

  • Free access to our online CPD Academy

  • Ongoing support from a friendly, dedicated consultant

  • The chance to move into long-term or permanent roles

Already Thrive trained? Amazing. If not, you can access free Thrive training through us, it’s a big plus for schools and gives you extra tools to support emotional wellbeing in the classroom.

If you’re patient, positive, and proud to be the steady presence that helps students turn things around, we’d love to hear from you
