Protocol Education is working alongside a Secondary School in Wiltshire to appoint a behaviour mentor

The ideal candidate will be professional and passionate about working with children with challenging behaviours and SEND. The ability to build positive and trusting relationships with young people will be essential, along with the consistent promotion of positive behaviours through both school and general life. 

Position – Behaviour Mentor

Role Overview

-          Maintain high behaviour management standards both individually and throughout the school

-          Work with individual and small groups to assist with learning and ensure students are getting most of school life

-          Work as part of the wider teaching and school team

-          Promote school values and ethos

-          Feedback to parents, careers and teaching staff on updates from students

The Candidate

-          Strong behaviour management and confident working with challenging behaviours

-          Ability to build strong, positive and trusting relationships with students.

-          Determined to create a positive learning environment to enable students to thrive

-          Can utilise a variety of teaching methods to suit various children

-          Strong communicator, confident in both written and verbal

Protocol Education are currently recruiting for a SEND Teacher to work in a fantastic SEND school based in Bristol.
You will be working with a variety of needs such as SEMH and complex needs. You will have the opportunity to work within a passionate, highly, uniquely qualified workforce which strives for the best outcomes and futures for all of their students to go on and lead successful and happy careers, further learning opportunities and a wide range of skills to become confident members of their society.

The ideal teacher will be professional and passionate about SEND as well as having excellent classroom management and supportive and positive behaviour management. Hold a QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)

Position: SEND Teacher 

Location: Bristol

Start date: Monday 16th January & Monday 20th February

Hours: Full time (part-time applicants will also be considered for a job share)
