Autism Teaching Assistant (ASC TA) – Full Time

Location: Sunderland
Contract: Full time, long term
Start: ASAP
Pay: £89 to £110 per day (PAYE)

Your role will include:

  • 1:1 and small-group ASC support

  • Helping pupils manage sensory needs and transitions

  • Using communication aids such as PECS and visuals

  • Working closely with therapists and SEND staff

  • Creating a predictable, positive environment

You’ll be perfect if you:

  • Have experience with autistic children or young adults

  • Stay cool during tricky moments

  • Bring empathy and patience to every interaction

  • Want to learn more about specialist SEND strategies

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
