Autism Teaching Assistant
Pay: £90–£110 per day (PAYE – no umbrella companies)

What you’ll be doing
- Supporting children with Autism with daily classroom tasks. Provide support with communication, routines and engagement
- Using visuals, sensory strategies and structured approaches that help pupils access learning
- Offering reassurance during transitions or emotionally tricky moments
- Working closely with teachers and therapists to provide stable, consistent support
- Encouraging independence, confidence and positive social interactions
- Celebrating progress in ways that feel meaningful to each pupil
Who we’re looking for
- Experience with Autism is a bonus, but not essential
- Someone calm, observant and able to adapt to individual needs
- A patient communicator who builds trust through warmth and consistency
- A team player who enjoys learning new strategies and approaches
- A genuine interest in SEND and supporting pupils who learn differently

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
