Autism Support Worker – Bradford Primary Schools
Location: Bradford
Contract: Full-time / Long-term
Pay: £88–£105 per day (depending on experience)

We’re looking for a compassionate Autism Support Worker to join our team of brilliant educators across primary schools in Bradford.
You’ll be working 1:1 or in small groups with pupils who have autism, helping them build confidence, access learning, and enjoy their school day. Every breakthrough moment - big or small - will have your name written all over it.
What you’ll be doing:

Supporting children with autism across classroom and sensory settings

Working closely with teachers and SENCOs to adapt lessons and routines

Using communication tools and strategies (like PECS, visual timetables, or Makaton)

Creating a safe, structured space where pupils can thrive
You’ll be great for this role if you:

Have experience supporting children or young people with SEND (especially autism)

Are patient, understanding, and confident in your approach

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
