Are you passionate about supporting students with autism? We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Autism Support Worker to join our well-respected school in Newcastle. This full-time role offers consistent support throughout the academic year, ensuring stability for students with complex needs on the autism spectrum.


Your Responsibilities:

  • Student Support: Provide assistance to students with autism in both individual and group settings
  • Classroom Assistance: Support students with their classwork and daily activities
  • Behaviour Management: Implement and manage effective behaviour strategies
  • Daily Routines: Help students navigate their daily routines
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement Education Healthcare Plans (EHCPs)

Qualifications:

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
