£90–£110 per day (PAYE only)

The role

As an Autism Support Assistant, you’ll be working closely with ASC pupils, helping them feel safe, supported and ready to learn throughout the school day.

Your day-to-day will include:

  • Providing 1:1 or small-group support to pupils with Autism
  • Supporting communication, emotional regulation and classroom engagement
  • Using structured routines, visual aids and sensory strategies
  • Helping pupils manage transitions and changes to their day
  • Working alongside teachers, SEN staff and therapists to keep support consistent
  • Encouraging independence and celebrating progress in ways that matter to each child

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
