We’re seeking an Autism Specialist TA to support students aged 11–18 in developing communication, social understanding, and independent living skills. You’ll help pupils with autism access a life skills-based curriculum — focusing on confidence, connection, and practical learning that lasts beyond the classroom.
Your role will include:

Supporting pupils in cooking, art, and community-based learning sessions

Encouraging structure, calm routines, and positive communication

Using sensory and visual support strategies

Building strong, trusting relationships that help students thrive
You’ll need:

Experience supporting young people with autism (school or care setting)

A patient, positive, and consistent approach

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
