Are you passionate about supporting young people with autism to thrive both in and out of the classroom?
This specialist school is looking for a compassionate Teaching Assistant with a strong understanding of autism and sensory needs. You’ll support pupils who may need extra time, patience, and encouragement to reach their potential.
Day to day, you’ll:

Support pupils with communication and social interaction

Use autism-aware strategies to help regulate emotions and routines

Help teachers adapt lessons to meet diverse learning needs

Create a positive, inclusive atmosphere every day
You’ll bring:

Empathy and curiosity about how different pupils learn best

Excellent listening and observation skills

Experience (or strong interest) in SEND, autism, or social communication needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
